Betonimestarit Oy began its activity in year 1988 with ten employees. During the first ten years we invested in new factories, machines and devices. Our professional and qualified personnel gave us advantages in business competition.
Our sales grew up and multipled itself 40 times and 1998 we were the third biggest producing concrete elements in Finland with sales of 34,5 million euros and 200 workers. In 2000 we sold factories in Vantaa, Turku and Uurainen, generation exchange happened and with same owners circle we rearranged our business.
In spring 2003 we set up a new factory for hollow-core slabs in Nastola, to assure wide-ranging deliveries to our clients. In 2004 we began to expand and invested in factories in Nastola and Iisalmi. Our business expanded by new factories in Haapavesi 2005 and Oulainen beginning 2006. We also established marketing firm Oy Betongmästarna Ab, which is dealing with growing Scandinavian market.
In year 2006 BM-Group made one of the biggest concrete elements deal in Finland, when LKAB built granule and enrichment factories in Sweden in Kiruna. These were built by NCC and Peab Ab. The value of this deal was approx. 30 million euros and 70 000 tons of products were delivered.
BM-Group became established in Sweden in year 2006, when we bought a concrete elements factory in Piteå and a planning department in Sundvall from Skanska Sverige Ab.
BM-Group bought also a concrete elements factory in Hallsberg from A-betong Ab in the beginning of 2007. By these deals BM-Group fastened notable its position on Swedish concrete market.
And the process is going on.
